Geometric Wool Hooked Rug

I originally thought I would hook this rug to resemble a Penny Rug - all circles.  But as I began hooking, I realized I wanted  more variables in the rug -

more visual interest, more for the eye to take in.

 

I hooked this wool rug with hand dyed and mill dyed wool in a #8 cut on Scottish Burlap. It measures 46.5in. x 31in. (118.11cm x 78.74cm)

This Rug hangs in my Dining Room.

The best part ??

It was made entirely from leftover wool strips, from other projects.  The rug was a great way to use up scraps.

Of course, only to make room for more ! ;)
