Corner Cabinet Rug Hooking
This was a leftover cabinet that I refurbished to display a wool hooked rug. I removed the center panel on the door. When the rug hooking was finished, I mounted it to the center panel and reset it in the door.
It is hooked with a #8 cut of wool on Scottish Burlap.
After hooking the rug, I chose the color to paint
the cabinet - a deep plum to match the Partridge.
The corner cabinet measures
30in. x 17in. (76.2cm x 43.18cm)
A Partridge in a Pear Tree has four pears. The four pears represent my four children, 3 daughters and 1 son. ;)
It is a great place to store my canned Spiced Pears and Peaches
for the winter months.
