Counted Cross Stitch Sampler...

I love old samplers and purchased this pattern because of it's clean and simple design.  This piece was stitched on Linen.

I love adding wool to projects, so I customized the design
and added a wool panel at the bottom.
I also eliminated all of the stars except 4 and left only 2 of the many birds
that were on the original pattern.

My button jar held the vintage buttons I was
seeking for this project !  I attached the wool panel with French knots around the edges.

  5. Hi Kathy...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit and for your kind words.
The original design is from Lori Markovic of La-D-Da.
I made several changes to the original design, so that it would
have a "sampler" feel and also to incorporate wool and some of
    my antique buttons.
