I don't often make hearts, however I treasure this simple design. I love the texture that the snow white french knots bring to this piece.
The front is appliqued with colorful blooms.
I used glass beads and crystals for the flower centers.
My heart hangs from a golden gauzy ribbon
on one of my wool hutches.
The back is embellished simply with snow white french knots.
A small line of beads hangs from the bottom of the heart.
This heart is a keeper. ;)
This is gorgeous! I love the wool you chose, and those little flowers are so darned sweet! And yeah, those white french knots are so perfect for it. Beautiful work!

This is beautiful. I love hearts and have a wee collection of handmade ones - sewn, quilted, stitched, and x-stitched ... but none as lovely as this one. Well done.
