Foxglove Finish Is Right Around The Corner...

 Wool Foxglove Applique

My wool foxglove design is finished.

I have hand embroidered a few leaves behind the blooms, using a Fly Stitch.
The stamens are just a simple Back Stitch.

I have pressed my 'panel' and pinned it to a beautiful Flax Striped wool.
I will be blanket stitching it in place.

A finish is right around the corner...

  2. Good Morning Rose, The colours you have chosen are so lovely and your stitches are beautiful, as always.
I love foxgloves and they are starting to pop up in my garden, which I am so pleased about, as it was beginning to feel, as if, Spring would never arrive.
    Best Wishes

  4. Good Morning Rose,
Thank you so much for making this pillow, especially while I was working on this block. It was almost like having my very own "Rose Tutorial". I am quite proud of my work on these blocks. Your instructions are amazing to work from. I love the wool you sent me. I believe this is my favorite project I have done. It is quite relaxing to work with. Thanks again for all you have done getting me started on this and I will be back shortly for more block pattens. Again, thanks Gloria
