Good Morning, Friends...
This has been one of the most lovely Autumns
we have had in years...
I have been continuing to jostle colors of Valdani
back and forth...trying to come up with just
the right combination.

Every morning I have this amazing view...
just outside my window...
A gorgeous golden Gingko,
partially lit by the early morning light.
I am completely 'taken' by this blanket of gold.
I won't let anyone in my family rake these leaves !
And, woe to the person that thinks it's okay
to walk through them !
There is just something about a carpet of
lovely colored leaves.
Enjoying this perfect Autumn ;)

We lost our old tree that use to create this carpet of Fall on our lawn....I didn't even mind picking up the leaves (good exercise) Your pictures are beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS colors in your pinwheels Rose - and that Gingko tree is amazing - I'm not sure if they grow in my area - I might have to check into that. Our Golden Ash tree turns the same beautiful color in the fall - one of my favorites.

I was thinking the same thing that this has been the best fall I can remember in a long time. Love the carpet of leaves and really like your choice of Valdani colors. What will you make of the pattern when finished?
