Fraktur Valentines...

Valdani Perle Cotton, Wired Pom Pom - Three Sheep Studio Blog

To say this bitter cold is tiring,
(to say the least !)
is an understatement.
But, rather than complain,
I'll cozy inside and stitch.

'Be Thee Mine' punch needle design with long fringed edge by Rose at ThreeSheepStudio.com

I've been experimenting and trying out
some new products...

Wired dark red Pom Pom

One of them is this wired pom pom.
(**LOVE**)
Would like to try my hand at hand dyeing
these sweet little poms to match the wool I have.
(I'm imagining all kinds of happy shades.)

By the end of the week,

  2. They are just beautiful and I love that color of red. Also wired pom poms how very cool. I was chopping beets last night for roasted vegetables, I kept standing there thinking of what a pretty red that would be to dye with. Something about this time of year, red is just so nice. I do hope you get to warm up some this coming week. Very nice patterns Rose.

  7. Well...these needle punch pieces are certainly warming the heart! So pretty! Love these little pom poms too! Yes. It was a struggle for me to stay indoors all weekend too (I'd much be out on road trips!)... but, knew it was just too freezing to risk safety if the car broke down (or flat tire) etc... Spring is coming! lol!
