Oh my goodness, what a day it has been,
thus far. Leaves and limbs taking flight.
There are downed trees everywhere
and the electricity has been
out several times today.
We have 35 mile per hour winds,
with gusts up to 60 miles per hour.
I can hardly think of anything more
relaxing than hiding away indoors
while sorting through
lovely colors of thread to add
to my punch needle design.
The sheep's coat is punched at a higher setting.
His face is solid black. I often prefer
this 'not so busy' finished look, for the face.
Should complete this fellow today.
My next design is already
swirling around in my head.
(I'm thinking strawberries)
A large kettle of Italian Wedding soup
is simmering on the stove.
Homemade Strawberry Shortcakes for dessert.
(That is, as long as we have electricity !)

Wow! Stay inside and safe please. We had hamburger soup - good soup days these are.😊 And, I loooovvvee! this wooly, how you raised the height of the wool, the subtle swirl/model in color, and that it is front facing - darling!

ReplyDeleteFriday was horrible...I would have loved to have stayed home and play with needle/hook and thread...but, I had to venture out to the job. What an ordeal trying to navigate roads with trees, branches and wires strewn about! I'm hoping it's true that March is in like a lion and OUT like a LAMB! Greener days are approaching! :-)
