Honeycomb And A Smattering Of Bees...

Wild Tulips

Life is so good...
the tulips are blooming,
the laundry is flapping on the line
and the hammock is out.
Warm weather is here !

I have been obsessed with hexies...
  wool hexies, to be exact.
For a tip to keep your hexies looking like Honeycomb,

'The Hive' is a punch needle design
that is framed in golden yellow honeycomb.

Finished into a small cushion,
trimmed with a glass beaded edge.

'The Hive' is in the Studio.
There is also an option for
an assortment of golden yellow wool,
for the honeycomb hexies.

Wishing you a glorious week of sunshine...

  1. You are so creative combing techniques. I'm can't get over how clean cut your hexies are, just perfect.
I do them in fabric for quilting and that's a struggle then found paper pricing or liquid glue painted around the edges and ironed.
Bees have found their way into my sewing room also, I have several bee projects in my to do stack..
Your signature beaded edging sets off the perfect punching and stitching.
    Your tutorial was very helpful..
    Blessings and Happy May Day

  3. Such a sweet little design!
Love those tulips. Unfortunately the deer eat all of mine. So happy they don't like daffodils!!!

  4. That is such a lovely pillow. I do love bees. I love those colors of thread too. I don't think you can ever miss with a bee skep.
I love your tulips. So pretty. I love how you describe your day.
Have a wonderful rest of the week. Today is my last day of Bible Study so hopefully, I can get back to sewing and wool. I want to finish His Eye this summer too.
