I don't know if you know it, but having a cricket on the hearth is supposed to bring good luck. When I was growing up, my grandmother would always comment about expecting good luck if she heard a cricket in her house. Try googling "cricket on the hearth good luck" to see the history of this little saying. Hope the chorus settles down before long!

Diane in North Carolina

Jimmiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16620266780624532300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8244872392651279790.post-66752510890358210612015-01-13T08:34:29.735-05:002015-01-13T08:34:29.735-05:00Oh no..

Next time it escaped it was never to be found again.
Hugs :)
LaurenRugs and Pugshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17084387971128823025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8244872392651279790.post-55797396856311765652015-01-12T16:32:57.580-05:002015-01-12T16:32:57.580-05:00Oh No!! I remember having to pick them up with my hand because, sometimes it is hard to find crickets so it is very important to save them all. :) That really is a beautiful lizard.
You are a great mom!!!
Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.com
