To say this bitter cold is tiring,
(to say the least !)
(to say the least !)
is an understatement.
But, rather than complain,
I'll cozy inside and stitch.
I've been experimenting and trying out
some new products...
One of them is this wired pom pom.
(**LOVE**)
(**LOVE**)
Would like to try my hand at hand dyeing
these sweet little poms to match the wool I have.
(I'm imagining all kinds of happy shades.)
'Be Thee Mine' punch needle design
'Be Thee Mine' is a
'1776' Fraktur adaptation.
Beautiful rich reds... perfect for Valentines day.
Finished with a long fringe edge
and a pom pom hanger.
~ Pattern available in my Studio ~
There is also an option for the
hand dyed dark red wool
and dark red pom poms to be included.
'Forever True' punch needle design
'Forever True' is also a Fraktur adaptation,
dated '1744'.
Fraktur work often contains beautiful tulips
and hearts.
This design is backed with
hand dyed dark red wool
and a dark red pom pom hanger.
~ Pattern available in my Studio ~
Also included, is the option for the wool backing
and dark red pom pom hanger.

By the end of the week,
the weather channel is saying
we might get in the 50's...
I'm hopeful !
Have a wonderful start to your week...
Rose
Oh, my...what beautiful Valentines!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are just beautiful and I love that color of red. Also wired pom poms how very cool. I was chopping beets last night for roasted vegetables, I kept standing there thinking of what a pretty red that would be to dye with. Something about this time of year, red is just so nice. I do hope you get to warm up some this coming week. Very nice patterns Rose.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love St Valentine's Day. Those are romantic without being heartsy. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteWe may hit 50* on Thursday. YEAH!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful work as always.
Both of these designs are lovely, Rose! The tulips are gorgeous....one of my favorites! We're hoping to see the 40's on Thursday....what a nice change that will be from -11 yesterday! :o)
ReplyDeletebeautiful patterns and color choices, love the pom poms
ReplyDeleteWell...these needle punch pieces are certainly warming the heart! So pretty! Love these little pom poms too! Yes. It was a struggle for me to stay indoors all weekend too (I'd much be out on road trips!)... but, knew it was just too freezing to risk safety if the car broke down (or flat tire) etc... Spring is coming! lol!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and design...beautiful.
