Crisp, clean, muslin drawstring sacks.
With wool appliqued flowers.
These bags have so many uses.
(I love how these house all of the
Grands "little toys".)
This is what my 'Pumpkin on a Stick'
looks like now !
Gorgeous deep orange 'pumpkins' !
My 'Pumpkin on a Stick' plants
are now about 3 feet tall.
A VERY rustic, old birdhouse
in the garden.
As long as the roof doesn't leak,
it's good !
Enjoy your day, my friends...

ReplyDeleteGREAT pic of those hungry mouths!
Loved the photos. Is the Pumpkin on a Stick edible? I'll have to search more info on it. Thanks for shariing
ReplyDeleteThe Pumpkin on a Stick is indeed edible. It is often used in Asian stirfry.
DeleteIt is slightly bitter. I won't be trying that, but I do plan to strip the leaves, cut the stems at the base, and allow them to dry.

ReplyDeleteInteresting plants! Never heard of a 'pumpkin on a stick'! LOVE the roof of the birdhouse, the angles the way they are cut in is fantastic. Have saved a reference photo for when it cools off I'm going to try to make one or two in my little garage wood shop! :)

ReplyDeleteAs always great pictures. That little bird mouth is great.
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkins look like tomatoes we had.
We finally got rain today but not enough to stop the drought and damage to crops.
