'His eye is on the Sparrow' Is Complete...

This beautiful project is complete !
is a cross stitch design from
Beth Twist at Heartstring Samplery.

I started this project on Feb. 8, 2016
and ended in Jan. 2019.

Stitch count is 435 x 363
Stitched on 28 ct. Cashel linen in
'Country Mocha' finish.

I'm sad to see it come to an end.
It has been my 'go to' stitching
for a long time, and has kept me company
through endless evenings of stitching.

I now need to patiently wait until I can
(hopefully) locate an old frame large enough
to work with this piece.
Design size is roughly 31 in. x 26 in.

While at a local thrift store,
I spied this gorgeous wool skirt.
Could not resist !

1.00 for about a half yard of usable wool.
I have just the place for it.
(You can read about my process
by going to REPURPOSED.)

We are enjoying some very beautiful,
warm days here in PA.
Birds are chattering and our little historic town
is bustling with activity.

Enjoy your day Friends ...
Rose

  7. I started His Eye is on the Sparrow 2 or 3 years ago. I started with the border and still have not finished that! When I’m working on WIPs, it’s easier to grab something much smaller. It is a gorgeous piece and I really need to make an effort to stitch on this project on a more regular basis.

  9. This piece just amazes me every time I see it.
You might look at stretcher bars to make frames for canvas, also Hobby Lobby type stores have different size packaged wood to build frames for any size you would need.
