A Gentle Start To The New Year...

Neutral Shades of Valdani Perle Cotton for Punch Needle Embroidery by Rose Clay at ThreeSheepStudio.com

I can always tell how busy my Holiday
season was by how fast I gravitate
towards calm neutral shades,
once we head into January...

Neutral Shades of DMC Floss for Punch Needle Embroidery by Rose Clay at ThreeSheepStudio.com

I crave soft gentle colors...
low stimulation !
And, these are just the ticket.
These shades are currently
on my worktable.

A Needle and Thread and tea in my favorite handmade mug...I'm ready 2020

I'm up every morning at 5:00 a.m.
How I start my day in the first hour,
sets the tone for the rest of the day.
This handmade mug with tea is a constant...
(Mug from 'OneTable')

Favorite Postage Stamps

I keep a large folder of stamps
in my Studio...
while most of the time,
I print my postage online...
I often will use stamps and these are some
of my favorites to have on hand.
The Winter Berries are my fav,
but the succulents come in a close second.

Wishing you a happy and healthy
New Year, my Friends...

  1. Beautiful neutrals.
How I wish I'd wake earlier, but I'm not smart enough to get to bed at a reasonable time...but I've never been a 5:00 am riser :)

  2. Lovely colors...so restorative...peaceful...calming. My husband rises at 3:45 every day...rain or shine, holiday or weekday...he's up and starting his day. I'm closer to five myself. Have a great 2020.

  3. I love everything about this post. And I normally get up between 6 and 6:30, but it's long been on my goals list to start getting up at 5am and having some time to myself before I start work (I work from home). Thank you for the reminder!

  7. I always know how stress free my holiday was if I am stitching so soon after Christmas. I think I stitched every day this year or it could be the pattern I am working on. I love your colors and they are so nice and warm.
I like your cup too. I hope you have a lovely New Year.
