It's a rainy Monday...
the start of a new week.
My typical Monday starts with
a long 'to do' list.
This gorgeous wool has been sitting on my
work table for a couple weeks now.
Every time I walk into my Studio,
with coffee cup in hand...
I stand and ponder what will become of it.
What can I dream up... what colors can be
paired with it.
Often times, I'll pull floss colors,
that I like and pair them with snippets of wool,
to see what works and what doesn't.
Today, there are kits to put together,
orders to pack, wool to cut, photos to take
and patterns to work on.
I would love to get control of my
huge scrap bins and do
a little sorting of wool colors.
But, my 'to list' is already too long,
and I'm thinking the bins will have to wait.
Enjoy the start of your week !
Rose
I would love to come dig in your scrap bins!
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful wool. I would stare at it too. I always seeing what you are up to and what kind of beauty will come out of your mind. You are so creative. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking bolt of wool! Some of it needs to be a background for something....to show off that weave pattern. No matter how much "gets done", the "to list" never gets shorter...ain't it wonderful? :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see what you do with the wool also. I'm a hooker and have not seen this wool before. I know you will do something wonderful.
