Wool Foxglove Applique
My wool foxglove design is finished.
I have hand embroidered a few leaves behind the blooms, using a Fly Stitch.
The stamens are just a simple Back Stitch.
I have pressed my 'panel' and pinned it to a beautiful Flax Striped wool.
I will be blanket stitching it in place.

A finish is right around the corner...
How beautiful!!

Oh it looks so very nice! Your bench is going to look wonderful with your hooked pattern idea :)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Rose, The colours you have chosen are so lovely and your stitches are beautiful, as always.
ReplyDeleteI love foxgloves and they are starting to pop up in my garden, which I am so pleased about, as it was beginning to feel, as if, Spring would never arrive.
Best Wishes

Good Morning Rose,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making this pillow, especially while I was working on this block. It was almost like having my very own "Rose Tutorial". I am quite proud of my work on these blocks. Your instructions are amazing to work from. I love the wool you sent me. I believe this is my favorite project I have done. It is quite relaxing to work with. Thanks again for all you have done getting me started on this and I will be back shortly for more block pattens. Again, thanks Gloria
