  1. Beautiful piece of art Rose! Congratulations on the Valdani feature...they know perfection when they see it!

  2. Be careful you don't accidentally put the bead in your mouth and the chocky on the flower:) Hee hee it would be a waste of good chocolate & might hurt a tooth. It's such hard work keeping everything straight with these things you know.

  3. YEAH....and why wouldn't they feature it....its absolutely, gorgeously beautiful.

  4. Jeeez I wanna punch, bead and eat chocolate with you :0)
So much fun and so pretty too.
    Warm Sunday Blessings

  5. Beautiful! I love the use of the beads which gives it just the right amount of sparkle!

  6. Beautiful, your work is so unique. Congrats on being featured by Valdani.

  7. You do really great work! Also, after I read this, I had to go grab a handful of chocolate chips. lol

  8. Your work is wonderful so you deserve to have it featured by Valdani. Hope you get a lot of responses for it. Also, I thank you for sharing your work and "how to's" in your blog. It is very inspiring and helpful. I have a bunch of Hershey Kisses upstairs that I've had since Christmas. I think its time to go get them. Have a great day!

  9. What a beauttiful pillow.Awesome Job! I use these beads too. Janice

  10. Just beautiful. I think really, your design is prettier than chocolate. How wonderful it will be going to Nashville. Are you going too? I have always thought that would be quite an experience. I have read about it.

  11. Congratulations on your market showing!!! That's tremendous exposure!! Back in the 90's I worked in a needlework shop & our owner took us all with her to the Nashville heaven....I mean market. We met all our favorite designers & wanted to buy one of everything we saw but of course the budget prevailed. Your designs are exquisite...instructions very detailed & easy to surprise Valdani chose you!! You should definitely go!!

  12. Hi Rose, I just started to do punch needle project with the help of your instructions on this blog - just 2 quick questions if you don't mind- 1. I purchased 100% cotton - labelled for punch needle embroidery not sure if the right stuff but weaver's cloth not available locally ? May get some from your site what is the difference ? I am getting some sections that are tearing apart _ I think due to being to rough or going back into same spot not moving forward but not sure ? Any suggestions you could offer ? Thanks Lori

    1. Hi Lori...Weavers Cloth is a blend of cotton and polyester. If you use 100% cotton for punch needle embroidery, your needle has the tendency to tear the fabric as you are punching..
The Weavers Cloth I use is a 45/55 blend (45% cotton and 55% polyester).

  13. Rose ,congrats on your feature! That piece is beyond gorgeous!!! I find so much inspiration visiting your awesome blog.Blessings,Jen

  14. I'll be picking up my quilt today from being quilted... right next door to the quilt shop is a bead shop... oh what "trouble" there is in this lovely world of ours! lol!
If it weren't for chocolates and coffee... i'd be the original grumpy cat! lol!

  15. Es una preciosidad de almohadón. Pero...¿me podrías indicar como se consigue, con que se hace, ese efecto? Gracias.

So glad to have you here visiting...
would love to hear your thoughts !
