Dandelions And Strawberries...

The fields (and lawns) are filled with
the bright yellow pop of Dandelions.

It's a shame the Dandelion is so scorned !
Beautiful and bright, they dot the landscape...

When we were kids we would hold a
Dandelion under our chins...
if it left a butter yellow mark under
your chin - then "you liked boys".
Oh, those fun childhood memories.

Punchneedle Strawberry

Strawberry season is just weeks away...
I can hardly wait !

Happy Saturday friends...

  1. Oh Rose! That punchneedle strawberry - that is GORGEOUS! Your header too is so charming and makes me want to craft something lovely. Thank you so much for coming to visit my post. I hope your spring is off to a great start! Anita

  2. mmmmm, love strawberries and your punchneedle one is the sweetest!

  3. Great strawberry!! Also the strawberry bloom is often overlooked. It is the sweetest little flower. We went to the pick-your-own fields every April in Louisiana when the girls were little. Fun times!! I'm also headed over to your studio to see if the strawberries in your header are a pattern!!

  4. Lovely strawberry. I am so glad you have spring and flowers and I love those red shoes.
    All looks great.

  5. Beautiful dandelion pictures, but I will do everything in my power not to have them :)
    Sweet strawberry.
    Hugs :)

  6. I agree with you about how pretty dandelions are - I saw some done as silk flowers once and I've always regretted not buying them - they'd never go to seed! Love your new header. Can't wait to see your punch needle strawberry progress!

  7. Rose I love your beautiful punched strawberry... and your bright red sneaks are adorable too! :)
I like dandelions. Too bad everyone's always trying to get rid of the them, including my husband! xo

  8. Yep the dandelions are popping up around here too. Love your red sneakers and the strawberry.

  9. "Please don't cut the Dandelions" they help feed Bees and we need the Bees to help make food.
We had a yard full with dandelions once and our neighbors didn't like the idea that we didn't use chemicals to kill them. Two reasons why not to kill dandelions, Bees need them and kids love them.
    Thanks for sharing

So glad to have you here visiting...
would love to hear your thoughts !
