Embellished Wool Crazy Quilt
This Crazy Quilt is 100% wool, front and back.
The blocks were pieced and then appliqued and hand embroidered.
Glass beads, semi-precious stones, crystals and buttons were used to embellish this wall hanging.
I embroidered our family dog onto one of the blocks.
At 19 years old, she deserved a place. ;)
After the blocks were completed, each of my family members chose their favorite. I then hand embroidered their name and birthdate onto "their" block, before assembling the wall hanging.
This was a fun project that used scraps and bits of wool fabric -
A great way to use "stash".
