A White Pine Bough displays it's prize - a single pine cone...
I made this pillow from a soft windowpane wool.
It measures 14in. x 18in. (35.56cm x 45.72cm)
The pine cone "plates" have been hand cut and pieced to fit perfectly together. This is another example of hand piecing without overlapping. The end result is smoother and does not distract from the actual pine cone.

The pillow edge is trimmed using a Glass Beaded Blanket Stitch in shades of forest green.
