I can't resist color - amazing color...
I could not pass up this fabulous seasonal color display
at the Farm Market this morning !!
Romanesco - "Broccoflower" - Is a gorgeous green and loaded with texture !
(It has a mild, creamy, nutty flavor)
Cheddar Cauliflower - Has 25x more beta carotene than regular cauliflower.
(Is citrus orange when lightly steamed.)
Purple Cauliflower - The purple color is caused by the presence of an antioxidant group that is also found in red cabbage.
( And yes, that purple is as purple as it looks !)
Of course, I did get other delicious veggies also ! ;)
