A trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA was just the break I needed.
Their Conservatory is more than 4 acres of lush gardens under glass.
Walking into the Conservatory was "summer like".
The air smelled of orchids...thousands of orchids.
The main event until March 24 is Orchid Extravaganza.
The cool colors of blue, silver, aqua, sage...
they have an amazing succulent garden.
Vibrant color and texture was tucked into every corner.
Longwood Gardens is home to an extensive Bonsai Collection.
I couldn't resist this Fern...looks like a mop of hair ! (Still not sure if I liked it - seemed like it would come to life, get up and walk away !)

A rare Blue Poppy in bloom.
The color was amazing in person.
Longwood Gardens sits on 1,077 acres.
They are incredible, magical gardens with beauty at every turn.
You could easily spend and entire day strolling the grounds.
