Punchneedle Pines...

As the weather turns colder,
I'm thinking about balsam and pine.

I punched the stems on this pine limb
with Valdani Perle Cotton, H212, Faded Brown.

I love all the shades of green that emerge from
Valdani Perle Cotton O526, Green Pastures.

It makes the pine needles look so real,
with no extra effort on my part.

More to come as this design fills in...

Have a wonderful week !
Rose

  9. Great colors on your spool of thread - they're perfect for your project! I started a Christmas wall quilt on Sunday - it's kinda small so I hope it works up quickly. Can't believe I'm a tiny bit ahead of the curve for once! LOL
