"Springtime" Punch Needle design, almost complete
I've been working on a handful of projects,
all at the same time.
(Many Thanks for the well wishes from so many friends.
The Flu has, at finally,
passed straight through our home and
sailed into the blue yonder !)
Tiny little woolen strawberries, just a mere 1.25 in.
"A Crow's Feast" Punch Needle design, in the works.
It is crispy, bitter cold here in Pennsylvania.
Perfect for staying in the warm surrounded
by warm wool, colorful thread,
beautiful buttons and supportive family!

I recently read something that made me
look back over my life and ponder...
"Isn't it funny how
day by day
nothing changes
but when you
look back
everything is different..."

Enjoy your day...

Hi Rose - Glad the bad health has gone from your home - not fun! I can't believe you made that teeny tiny strawberry out of wool! Cotton I could see, but wool is amazing! Will those tabs/tongues used for hanging? Or is it just a design element? Guess I'll have to wait for the big reveal to see how it looks. Your new blog header looks so bright and springy!
ReplyDeleteWow, your work is always so beautiful. Those confetti buttons are perfect.
ReplyDeleteKeep yourself well.
Glad to hear you are all better. Your site is so beautiful, it makes me want to try to make everything! I, too, am looking forward to seeing "Springtime" finished. The tabs are so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe quote does make you stop and really think, doesn't it?! Something to ponder, indeed. I think I will write it down and give it some "deep think" time. Amazing sometimes, what comes to mind when you really give a thought some deep time of it's own.
Darlene
Crispy? Crunchy! Crappy.
ReplyDeleteThat finish you're teasing us with for Springtime looks really cute!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're feeling better, everything looks so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better, it is a stinker isn;t it? As always your project looks very interesting. Your use of color Rose is amazing. Creative and inventive makes a wonderful design. This Spring piece looks really cute. Take care, stay warm.
ReplyDeleteYou're quite the busy bee and making great headway on the production line. Glad you're back in good health.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are better. I love everything you are working on. It always makes me happy seeing what you have been doing. I am going to make strawberries from that lovely pattern you sent me.
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting since last year for spring. :)
