Hand Embroidered roses using a Cast-On Stitch.
Leaves are embroidered using the Fly Stitch.
These wedges of butter yellow wool
will become an Eight Pointed Civil War Pincushion,
similar to the one below...
I'm assembling kits for a
Civil War Pincushion class I will be teaching
later this month.
I'm loving the Candy Apple striped Wool.
The small squares will be the Pennies
that top the pincushion and we will also make
two Penny Pins.
All sewn by hand -
