I can't resist velvet...
it's softness and rich color.
I started collecting velvet cloth years ago,
when I was making crazy quilts.
Through one of my stitching friends,

I have found a new velvet...
a petite velvet...
delicate and fine. Hmmm,
I'm starting to think...
how and where can I use this ??
It punches beautifully.
I used a medium needle on
my Ultra Punch, but probably could also
use the large needle.
Loving the soft texture.
I'm thinking it will be perfect for
small applications or even to mix in with
other threads and fiber.
Now, I need to begin adding colors to
this line up. I'm envisioning spring flowers !!
