Each Autumn I plant crocus bulbs
in portions of the lawn. Wishing and hoping
to be rewarded with tiny purple blooms
to welcome Spring. The temps are climbing
and these tiny gems are breaking through
the soft ground. Their color is my inspiration
for a new design I am working on.
