This was the week to finish the Penny Runner.
I really wanted it on my table for the holidays.
I decided to give it some black accents...
and a black background.

I'm very fond of this black wool -
I've been using their black wool
for many years and love
the weight and softness.

I finished the black background with a self binding.
Next on the list was coasters.
I love the look of wooly coasters on the D.R. table.
One side is striped the other is solid black.
Ready for holiday gatherings.

so lovely I too use Dorr Mill black I use a lot of dorr mill as they are pretty close to us. I am not a hand stitcher I just can not get it as even and beautiful as you can. Love the quote
