Stitch count is 435 x 363
Stitching one motif at a time !
Have a wonderful evening...

Gorgeous design, Rose, and quite an undertaking! I know what you mean about having a major project to nibble away on, knowing that there is no deadline…and that the only real goal is enjoyment to a beautiful end.

Beautiful - it will be so worth all the time you put into it
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your progress on His Eye. I did really well when it was cold. I need to order some thread so I think that is why I am stalled.
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful isn't it? I am so glad you showed your progress.
I haven't even had a chance to start on one motif yet, so I'm living vicariously through your photos for now...beautiful! I did take time to jot down what thread I need to get started. I've been buying Nancy's wonderful hand-dyed threads at Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe to do much of my primitive stitching, and she's now adding DMC conversions to many of her collections too, so I may wait a bit and gather the colors I still need all at once. I'm looking forward to getting started on that beautiful design. All the materials but the threads are ready to go: linen, hoop, chart, etc. (my Christmas present to myself!). In the meantime, I'll sure be appreciating your progress. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI think you have made wonderful progress, wow! I have ordered all the bits but have yet to start it. I am going to try and use aida 14...I hope it will work out ok, I just can't see the linen well enough to stitch even with my readers.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy having a big project that takes me time. Part of the Slow Stitching Movement - to just enjoy the process. No deadlines. This is in my stash and kitted. Love seeing how everyone has done this. I am currently doing a very large project from My Big Toe Designs. Been over a year too. Enjoy it every time I pick it up.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! But, wow! has it really been a year already?
