Autumn Squirrel...

I have been enjoying working 

with these rich Autumn shades...
who can resist colors like:
Fall Leaves ~ Coffee Roast
Aged Wine ~ Tarnished Gold
Old Brick ~ Ebony Almond

A playful squirrel is beginning 

to take shape...

Gathering beads and Perle Cotton

for the edging....

This design was placed on a 

dark green herringbone

wool backing.

Finished with a 

(Beaded Blanket stitch).

'Gathering'

The playful Squirrel knows all too well

when Fall is coming...

now if only he can remember 

where he placed those acorns !

'Gathering' is finished into a small pillow,

trimmed with a beaded edge,

however you can opt to finish

edges with a regular Blanket Stitch.

Pillow measures approximately

7 in. x 6.5 in.
