Last month, while at the greenhouse,
my eyes spied this...
(absolutely treacherous and I LOVE it)
Like something found in a deep, dark forest !
~ spooky ~
(~ Picture from Pinterest ~)
This will be the end result...
It's called
"Pumpkin On A Stick"
How cool is this !!!
These are my plants now...
Loving these little pumpkins -
complete with witchy, scratchy
and snarly thorns !
Picked and ate my fair share of strawberries...
Now, it's Cherries.
We picked 20.6 pounds over the weekend,
at Cherry Hill Orchards in Lancaster, PA

I managed 'just a little bit of time'
to squeeze in some stitching.
Blanket Stitching onto Mattress Ticking...

Beautiful Linen secured with
Mother Of Pearl buttons...
I'm working on a finish for
my 'Wildflowers' Hand Embroidery.

ReplyDeleteYour strawberries and cherries are making my mouth water :)
Beautiful stitching ~ as always.
Happy 4th of July to you!
Very interesting plant. Never saw thorns on backs of leaves! I hope they all fall off before you harvest those stems!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!!! I absolutely NEED one of those plants! :-)
ReplyDeleteIs your Pumpkin-on-a-Stick planted in the ground? Or does it reside in a big pot?
ReplyDeleteLove your stitching, Rose...and the Anne Boleyn linen is perfect with those mother-of-pearl buttons!

Hi Bonnie...
DeleteThanks for you kind words !
The ‘Pumpkin On A Stick’ is planted in the ground. I have planted several of them. They are about 3 feet tall right now. Very interesting plants !

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day you must of had at the beach - love the photo!!
Fresh strawberries...we wanted to go picking them this year but never made it. Don't know that my back would hold up bending all that time but it might be worth the hurt lol
Blessings and have a wonderful 4th.
